Tennis players who compete in, have competed in, or will compete in any ATP-sanctioned or WTA-sanctioned tennis tournaments or any of the four Grand Slams may be members of a class action settlement.

14.10.2026

NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and JW Quinn ADL LLC announce:

Are you a tennis player who competes in, has competed in, or will compete in any ATP-sanctioned or WTA-sanctioned tennis tournament or any of the four Grand Slams between March 18, 2021 until the court enters a final judgment in this case? There is a class action Settlement with Defendant Tennis Australia Limited to resolve claims for monetary damages and/or monetary relief of any kind. Your rights may be affected by this settlement.

Important Things to Know:

  • The purpose of this notice is to alert you about a proposed Settlement reached in the Class Action Lawsuit (the "Lawsuit") brought by current and former mens and womens professional tennis players and the Professional Tennis Players Association ("PTPA") (together, "Plaintiffs") against Defendants ATP Tour, Inc., WTA Tour, Inc., Tennis Australia Limited ("Tennis Australia"), Federation Francaise de Tennis, All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships) Ltd., and United States Tennis Association Inc. ("Defendants"). The Lawsuit alleges that Defendants violated antitrust laws relating to the oversight, governance, and operation of professional tennis. Defendants have denied any wrongdoing.

  • This Settlement is with Defendant Tennis Australia only. The lawsuit is continuing against the non-settling Defendants, including ATP Tour, Inc., WTA Tour, Inc., Federation Francaise de Tennis, All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships) Ltd., and United States Tennis Association Inc.

  • Settlement Class Members' rights will be affected by this Settlement, which provides non-monetary benefits in the Lawsuit, including Tennis Australia's cooperation and production of information relevant to Plaintiffs' claims.

  • If you do nothing, you will remain in the Class. Keep in mind that if you do nothing now, regardless of whether Plaintiffs win or lose, you will be legally bound by all Court orders and judgments made in this class action and you will not be able to bring a separate lawsuit against Tennis Australia for the same legal claims that are the subject of this Lawsuit.

  • The Player Plaintiffs and the Damages Classes are represented by Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and JW Quinn ADL LLC. Counsel has been overseeing and performing work to advance this case on behalf of the Plaintiffs since 2025. If you stay in the Class, you do not need to hire your own lawyer to pursue the claims against Tennis Australia. However, if you want to be represented by your own lawyer, you may hire one at your own expense.

  • To learn more about the Settlement, please visit the Settlement Website, www.TennisPlayersLitigation.com, or call 1-888-808-5799.

  • There are important deadlines that affect your legal rights. This schedule may change, so please visit the Settlement Website regularly for updates. If you wish to exclude yourself from this Settlement or file an objection, you must do so by November 30, 2026.

  • The Court will hold a Settlement Hearing to decide whether to approve the Settlement. The date and time of the hearing has not yet been set. Once the Court schedules the hearing, additional information will be available on the Settlement Website.

  • If you take no action, you will still be bound by the Settlement, and your rights will be affected.

Umstrittene Kontakte der Linken bremsen Start von Sondierungen in Berlin

08.10.2026
